The Christian Life Is A Journey

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:2

The moment we accept Christ into our life, we begin this life long journey.  It is important for all of us to continue to grow in this journey.   The Bible encourages us to continue to grow in our faith.  It’s up to us to to do what it takes to make growth happen.

Attend Weekly Services

We can’t express the importance of gathering together to worship and to learn more about this life with God.   We come together to be encouraged and to encourage others.

Tip:  God did not design us to be “Lone Rangers”.    The Christian life is not one to be done by yourself.   Become part of a local family.

Engage With God Daily

There is no substitute for reading the Bible and praying.   It really isn’t as difficult as some think.   Learning about God and conversing with Him  are essential to our spiritual growth.

Tip: You can subscribe to YouVersion and get on a reading plan to start your journey.

Become Active

You might call this exercise, spiritual exercise. It is important for followers of Christ to be active.   We encourage you to become active in serving within the church.   Find your gift of God that is within you and share it with others.

Investing your time and treasure into God’s work has the highest form of return.

Tip:   The church can help you find your Spiritual gift.  Let us help you build your Spiritual muscle.
